Without tools, lists gptr's servers (the user mcp.json and, in a trusted project, .gptr/mcp.json) together with the servers configured for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor, VS Code and Pi, which gptr reads but never edits. Nothing is started: the era and the tool counts come from gptr's caches. With tools = TRUE, lists the tools of server (or of every usable server) with their R signatures and catalog cost, from the cache when it is fresh and otherwise by connecting (which starts stdio servers). Servers of an untrusted project are listed but never started.

Usage

gptr_mcp(server = NULL, tools = FALSE, refresh = FALSE)

Arguments

server

A server name, or NULL for all.

tools

TRUE to list tools instead of servers.

refresh

TRUE to reconnect and refresh the caches.

Value

A gptr_mcp_servers data frame (name, source, transport, era, status, tools, exposure, tokens, trusted) or, with tools = TRUE, a data frame with server, tool, signature, exposure and tokens.
